By Tartancloak Another top-notch story of a young fellow fighting the odds to wring success from the challenging terrain of a Canadian prairie farm. You might not think a story in such a setting could be interesting, but Bindloss knew what he was writing about, and he gives you a good feeling for what it was like to be in that vast, lightly populated prairie area of Canada. His main characters are always very well drawn, and he is good with relationships. Recommended.
